Baker Makes Assistant Vice President AppointmentsPITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE: Amex: BKR) is pleased to announce the following appointments to assistant vice president. The appointments include: Matthew C. Natale – assistant vice president, Construction Services, in the Harrisburg, Pa., office. In this capacity, Natale will serve as the statewide technical services manager of construction field service operations, with oversight of the construction management operations. Natale will be responsible for all aspects of the construction services operations for the Harrisburg and Horsham offices including business development and growth, financial management, staffing, planning and overall leadership of Baker’s construction professionals and projects. Baker’s Pennsylvania construction services team has steadily grown to over 175 construction managers and inspectors.
Colin P. Olness – assistant vice president, Facilities Service Area, in the Phoenix, Ariz., office. Olness has been instrumental to growth of the Facilities Service Area in the West over the past three years, and increased the Phoenix facilities group to an approximate $10 million revenue department over the past two years with the help of the Phoenix team. As that region grows in importance to Baker and the Facilities Service Area, the need to have an assistant vice president in that region to handle Baker corporate officer needs is critical. Robert Schlesinger – assistant vice president, Facilities Service Area, in the Alexandria, Va., office. Schlesinger’s appointment will bring his position in line and commensurate with similar business development positions within the Federal Business Line. Since he joined Baker one year ago, he has contributed to the Facilities Service Area for business development in the Northwest U.S., and assumed the responsibility as the NAVFAC business development lead for all of Baker, supporting the entire Federal Service Line nationwide. Schlesinger’s support has created numerous opportunities to grow Baker’s market share with the Navy.
