Geomagic Announces Update of Flagship 3D Reverse Engineering and Inspection Software

Version 12 SR1 Delivers New Language Versions and Refines User Interface

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Geomagic^® has announced that its 3D reverse engineering and inspection software products have been updated to enable new features and support additional languages.

With the release of Version 12, Service Release 1, Geomagic Studio^®, Geomagic Qualify^™ and Geomagic Wrap^® have been updated to support users who speak Portuguese, Czech and Russian. This is in addition to the wide range of languages previously supported (English, German, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Spanish) by Geomagic software. Version 12 SR1 also includes advanced support of 3D mouse functions for improved 3D navigation and support for import of Vialux scan data.

Other updates to Geomagic products in Version 12 SR1 include:

The ability to create reports in PowerPoint formats from Geomagic Qualify.
Improved profile editing, freeform parameterization, and fitting of lofted surfaces in parametric surfacing for Geomagic Studio.
Support for Faro plug-ins on Windows 7 platforms.
