| WHO: | FIRST® joins more than 500 science organizations this weekend to inspire the next generation of innovators, engineers, scientists and technologists during the USA Science and Engineering Festival in the nation’s capital. |

| WHAT: | The USA Science and Engineering Festival, which began on Oct. 10, culminates this Saturday and Sunday with more than 100,000 visitors expected. | |||
| WHEN: | Oct. 23 & 24: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Both Days) ― Rain or Shine! | |||
| WHERE: | National Mall, Washington, D.C. Section NM-3, Booth #341-357 | |||
| WHY: | Accomplished inventor Dean Kamen founded FIRST ® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) – to inspire innovation and an appreciation of science and technology in young people: | |||
| - | - | More than 250,000 students from 57 countries compete at FIRST events with more than 22,000 custom-built robots; | ||
| - | - | Students who participate in FIRST programs – FTC and FRC – are eligible for $14 million in college scholarships; | ||
