Mark E. Moore Joins Baker as Vice President and Oil and Gas Engineering Business Development LeaderPITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE Amex:BKR), announced today that Mark E. Moore, P.E., has been appointed vice president and leader of Baker’s oil and gas engineering business development. In this role, Moore will be responsible for the growth of Baker’s oil and gas engineering programs in the lower 48 states of the U.S. Moore will manage these activities from Baker’s Houston, Texas, office.

Mark complements our strategy for expanding further into the lower 48, building on Baker’s extensive pipeline history in Alaska and ongoing national geospatial and pipeline integrity management programs.” During his career, Moore has served in oil and gas pipelines market segment executive leadership roles in a number of major energy operations firms and engineering firms focused on the energy markets. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a past member of American Petroleum Institute and maintains a number of active relationships with major national pipeline associations.
