Aide Solar Receives Green Pioneer for Solar Award

Company Also Named as Finalist for the Heart of Business Award by the Phoenix Business Journal

TEMPE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aide Solar (http://www.aidesolar.com), a large-scale producer of photovoltaic (PV) modules, today announced that it has been named a Green Pioneer in the solar industry by the Phoenix Business Journal. The Green Pioneer Award is being presented to Aide Solar in recognition of it being one of the first Chinese solar firms to establish its headquarters in Arizona. Aide Solar’s North American headquarters in Tempe gives its customers a local market focus with real-time support.

The accolade was also given to Aide Solar for its participation in the cooperative effort to install a 2.3 kW solar electric system using the company’s donated 230 watt poly-crystalline black frame solar panels at the Compadre branch of the Boys & Girls Club of the East Valley in Chandler, Ariz. This community project also earned Aide Solar a spot as a finalist for the Phoenix Business Journal Heart of Business award in the Most Outstanding Company Project category.

The event is intended to highlight green efforts and initiatives within the community, strengthen the network of Valley professionals working to advance environmental sustainability, and inspire others in the business community to do their part.
