Management of Evolution Solar Corp. (PinkSheets: EVSO) announced that they have completed decisions with Texas Southern University on the scope of their joint solar demonstration project and the construction materials have been specified. Pursuant to these decisions, EVSO has ordered and funded payment for the entire project’s required construction materials from AmpleSun Solar of Hangzhou City, China.
EVSO is an authorized distributor for AmpleSun Solar for the US, Canada, Africa, Central and South America. “We are thrilled with the progress being made on this significant project,” said Robert Hines, President of EVSO. “We couldn’t be happier with the choice of Texas Southern University.” Evolution Solar is currently building a solar demonstration site in partnership with Texas Southern University, to be located at the University’s Houston Campus. The project should help Evolution Solar acquire new projects in a sector that is growing to compete in the energy industry, which contains Penn West Energy (NYSE: PWE), Duke Energy (NYSE: DUK), Valero Energy Corporation (NYSE: VLO) and BP (NYSE: BP).
