LDK Solar Co., Ltd. a leading manufacturer of multicrystalline solar wafers and PV products, today announced that it reached the milestone of 2.0 gigawatts (GW) annualized capacity at its wafer plant. Mr. Xiaofeng Peng, Founder, Chairman and CEO hosted a ceremony to celebrate the achievement at the company's facilities in Xinyu City, China in conjunction with its previously announced Investor Day. "I am proud of the way our team has successfully executed one of the most impressive capacity ramps in the sector," stated Xiaofeng Peng, Chairman and CEO of LDK Solar. "As the solar industry emerges from a challenging period, we are pleased to grow our capacity to meet the rebound in customer demand.
