The MCS certificate is a pre-requisite for selling solar panels in the UK market within the Government financial support program. The endorsement will enable customers and value-added partners in the UK, to utilize CNPV's solar panels for reliable, lower cost, electricity generation.

Issued by the leading UK test authority, the British Standards Institute (BSI), the certification attests that CNPV's modules meet or exceed relevant standards for sales in the UK. The MCS approval process includes a factory inspection, to ensure that all production processes conform or exceed safety and reliability standards, as well as thorough product performance evaluation. The net result is the ability to present the CNPV modules, complete with the well established and world respected Kitemark(R) and the recently introduced MCS mark.

CNPV will introduce the British market to 3 specific high power density premium series module sizes from their product portfolio. This will allow further improvement on their already significant cost benefits. Incorporating all of their latest technology and superior performance, these modules are versatile solutions to the complete requirement of the UK photovoltaic demand. The UK module sizes are CNPV-200M within 1.26sqm area, CNPV-250M within1.6sqm area and CNPV-300M within 1.9sqm area.

The larger area, high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells, anti-reflection coated glass and high conductivity interconnected materials generate the highest efficiencies, outperforming the industry average by 8%. The net effect is increased power without increasing surface area required for installation; it is therefore an ideal solution where space is limited and variable light conditions exist.

The modules are backed by CNPV's 25-year power output and 10-year product workmanship warranty underwritten by reputed European insurance companies. This range is already provided by CNPV on a worldwide basis where superior performance is required, and it is particularly suited to the UK solar electricity generating conditions.
