(NASDAQ:ASYS), a global supplier of production and automation systems and related supplies for the manufacture of solar cells, today announced that it has been added as a new component to the Ardour Global Alternative Energy Index, effective September 19, 2010.

The Ardour Global Alternative Energy Index^SM (TICKER:AGIGL) is a capitalization-weighted, float-adjusted index of the most prominent pure play alternative energy stocks in the world and serves as an impartial and transparent measure of the alternative energy sector performance.
