India's ABG Shipyard has secured orders for construction of three 20,000 dwt cement carriers for Associated Bulk Carriers Pte. Ltd., Singapore). Associated Bulk Carriers is a joint venture of Thailand's Precious Shipping and Singapore's PFS Shipping. The joint venture is building the cement carriers to perform long term time charters already signed by Precious Shipping with Ultratech Cement Limited, Mumbai, India. According to a stock exchange announcement by ABG Shipyard, the order is worth US$ 85.5 million.
