Petrobras announces contract for pre-salt development |

Petróleo Brasileiro S.A - Petrobras, informs about the execution of an agreement for the development of the pre-salt region in Santos Basin.
The Company signed a letter of intent with Engevix Engenharia S.A. to authorize Engevix to start up the procurement services for the construction of eight FPSO (“Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading”) hulls. These units are expected to be allocated in the pre-salt area of Santos Basin.
The letter of intent was signed aimed at avoid delays in the development schedule of the area and will follow to the execution of a final contract by the parties, after the formal approval of Petrobras´ partners.
