This year’s tradeshow represents a milestone for the company as it is the first time it has participated under the Schneider Electric brand since it acquired Xantrex Technology Inc. in October 2008 and created its Renewable Energies Business.

Schneider Electric will display its global solutions for a wide array of photovoltaic (PV) markets including solar farms, large commercial, residential, off-grid and backup power. These solutions range from inverters, switch gear, monitoring to security products from Schneider Electric’s vast offering of electrical and energy management solutions.

Schneider Electric will have a number of solutions that address the solar farm market segment including solutions for the monitoring and the security of PV installations. One of the products that will be featured is the Schneider Electric Xantrex GT630 E Central Inverter which has a competitive price and performance ratio, and features the latest insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) switching technology to reach a high efficiency level of 98.6%. This inverter can handle the most demanding grid interactive features while continuing to deliver maximum active power to the grid. An interactive computer generated model of the Schneider Electric PV Box and complete solar farm solution package that is available to suit different customer applications, will be displayed. The PV Box is available in customized configurations from 250 kW to as large as 2 MW.

In addition to Schneider Electric’s large three-phase products, the company will display a wide variety of single-phase products for the residential markets. These products include both the Xantrex transformer based and SunEzy transformerless grid-tied inverters that range in power
