Odfjell has entered into an agreement to sell the coated parcel tanker MT Bow Prima (45 655 DWT/built 1987) for recycling in China. The vessel has Green Passport and Buyers undertake that the recycling yard shall submit a working plan corresponding to IMO guidelines for ship recycling. The vessel is sold at a loss of USD 3.3 million. The Odfjell Group is a leading participant in the global market of the seaborne transportation and storage of chemicals and other speciality bulk liquids. The tank terminal division consists of nine fully or partially owned tank terminals and nine associated tank terminals strategically located.
