Pasha Hawaii Receives Interim Decision and Order from Hawaii PUC

CORTE MADERA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Pasha Hawaii Transport Lines is very pleased to announce that on September 20, 2010, the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission has issued an interim Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity allowing Pasha Hawaii to operate as an intrastate water carrier of property between and among the major Hawaiian Islands.

We wish to extend our sincere thanks to our loyal Hawaii-based customers who supported our application for this Certificate. It was their many requests for our service that persuaded us to file the initial application. We look forward to providing intrastate shippers in Hawaii with an opportunity to choose the Jean Anne's enclosed roll-on roll-off service to transport their goods between Honolulu, Kahului and Hilo, where Pasha has regularly scheduled service.

Pasha Hawaii anticipates commencing this extended service during the fourth quarter of 2010.

Pasha Hawaii Transport Lines is a joint venture between The Pasha Group, a California-based automobile handling and logistics company, and Hawaii Ship Management LLC. The Pasha Group has been involved in cargo handling/logistics and terminal operations for over 60 years, with current port facilities at the ports of San Diego and Los Angeles, California; Baltimore, Maryland; and Grays Harbor, Washington.
